The cherry blossom season has come to Kyoto. It was a warm and a fine day, so I visited Fushimi, the southern part of Kyoto city to enjoy cherry blossom viewing and walk along the canal.
This area of Fushimi is famous for its Canals and Sake breweries. I recommned you to visit especially during cherry blossom season.

Above small boat is called Jukkokubune(traditonal Japanese style boat) cruise on the canal. This tour is very popular especialy in April, need to book in advance as earlier as possible.
